I have had acupuncture before, by minimally trained Chiropractors, but felt it didn't help. I read about Annie's years of training and decided to go for treatment. I am 87 years old and presented Annie with numerous health issues.
The first was damaged lymph nodes in the right leg due to radiation cancer therapy. The leg was hard to touch and badly swollen, I have not been able to fit into my relaxed-fit jeans for over two years. After two treatments the swelling is reduced dramatically, is soft to touch and I am wearing jeans for the first time in over years. Moreover, I have lost 6 pounds with no diet or exercise change.
Secondly, the left ankle was swollen markedly, but soft. This was due to my heart condition and was known by my cardiologist. That heart caused swelling has almost disappeared!
Third, due to the open-heart surgery and years of heart treatment, I have been extremely weak and tired. On some mornings I could not get out of bed and when trying to walk stairs, my legs would often quiver and shake. Since the acupuncture treatment, I am able to rise every morning and my legs have not quivered or shook once and I do stairs several times a day.
I feel Annie's treatment is just short of miraculous. Thanks so much, Annie.

I would recommend acupuncture to anyone who wants to feel better without taking medication. After 3 treatments with Annie, I can now turn my neck without pain, I have better circulation in my legs, more strength in my hand and a lot more energy. I also lost weight! I am a 65 year old male who was stricken with polio at the age of ten that affected my lower extremities. Approximately 6 years ago, I was diagnosed with prostate issues and bladder discomforts and have had many tests, various procedures and have been on numerous medications with not much relief. I was experiencing serious groin and pelvic floor pain that affected my daily activities and was up at night going to the restroom 5-7 times. What a life.
Then I met Annie (what a blessing) and we learned, over time with various treatments of acupuncture, pain relief did occur but later found that alternative treatments using moxibustion and Aroma Touch essential oil methods provided another level of pain relief after several treatments. The pain in my groin area and the frequency of going to the restroom has reduced tremendously. My pain relief is unbelievable. My life has returned to some level of normality.
Many thanks go out to Annie who stuck by my side and never gave up on me through these trying times. Annie, through her persistence, and mine, has made me a different person. I have been seeing Annie for well over a year and I would highly recommend acupuncture and Aroma Touch to anyone who wishes to feel better without taking lots of medications.

Recently I been looking to acupuncture for my mental well being. Annie has been such a blessing to me, giving me advice on how to really take care of myself during an abundantly stressful time. I often think about last summer, hobbling across the street for treatment and now I'm dancing, walking in heels, back to a regular workout routine (5 days a week) and looking forward to tackling those awesome steps at Hoover Dam this summer. You have been an outstanding partner in my renewed health.
I remember once, early in the treatment, my saying that I thought I was going to have to have surgery after all. You didn't look up from your notes, but merely shook your head 'no'. Of course, we both know how the story ended - NO SURGERY.

Yes, acupuncture works as anesthetic for dental procedures! I’ve always been curious if it would, as an alternative to Novocaine, and Annie, as well as my dentist, Dr. Doherty, were more than happy to try it out with me.
The first test was a filling replacement which was no problem. The real test was a crown prep where the tooth was ground down “to a nub”, getting into nerve territory. It was definitely sensitive the closer the drill got to the core of the tooth, but completely doable, even for a sensitive guy like myself. Annie had also given me some clove oil to rub on my gums prior to starting the procedure to help with the numbing effect of the acupuncture. I was impressed! Dr. Doherty was very impressed! And, after it was all over, I left the dentist office feeling completely normal, no swollen face and no anesthetic for my body to have to process!
I am enjoying bimonthly acupuncture treatments with Annie to continue to optimize my health and wellness, and will continue to go in for acupuncture before future dental procedures that otherwise would require Novocaine for pain management. I appreciate Annie’s expertise and openness in her approach to her healing practice and feel fortunate to have the opportunity to work with her. Thanks!!

Acupuncture was not something I ever thought I would consider for myself, so when I started seeing Annie, I did with some trepidation. I found this lovely young lady who made me feel quite comfortable in her mannerism and concern for helping me make some much needed changes in my life that I was not willing to consider before our first meeting. I found using needles is only a part of Annie’s many talents.
Working with Annie helped me get off packaged food and 4 prescription medicines. The needle part of the process was gently applied, and I found it helped me quit my excessive eating habits whenever I saw food, as well as some of my localized pain. It took several visits to convince this skeptic! Meanwhile I respected Annie enough to try her suggestions in one area at a time. Over my 10 visits, I grew stronger in my own ability to take responsibility for my own health and well-being.
